Champagne Jacquart. By the year 2000 the 30 small growers had swelled to a hearty 700 and the company joined the powerful Alliance Group making Jacquart part of the largest land owning growers co-op in the region controlling 7 of the appellations total. At the centre of its production are the Mosaique NVs featuring Brut Extra Brut and Rose blends.

The Jacquart story is a history of the Champagne growers efforts to control their own destiny rather than relying on the big Grande Marque houses as a route to market. Champagne Jacquart Brut Mosaique NV was awarded The Coup de Coeur Award for Guide Hachette 2016 in the Champagne category.

Timing is crucial to the champagne business more so now that Champagne Jacquart is set to re-enter the Singapore in 2019 through the exclusive distributor Taste of Tradition after pulling out of the market 20 years agoAs managing director Adrien Combet explained at the pre-launch event at Gunthers last December they wanted to make sure that they get it right this time. Champagne Jacquart produces 7 of the Champagne from this region and consists of 3 wineries employs 200 people and has 1800 vineyards. Champagne Jacquart was founded in 1964 in Reims Champagne by a group of 18 grapegrowers. Closely linked to the terroir the wines represent a fascinating bridge between the smaller family estates and the larger Champagne houses the Grands Marques.
